September 2004 Third Generation I'm George Brand, and I have to admit it; I LOVE log homes! I'm the third generation log home dweller in my family and our Golden Eagle Log Home fullfills a lifelong dream to have a full log home on Shupac Lake in Northern Michigan. My wife Sally and I looked at log home companies far and wide and were seriously considering giving up and settling for a stick-built home when we found Golden Eagle Log Homes on the Internet. After dozens of telephone calls, e-mails and letters, we drove to Wisconsin Rapids to meet with the staff of Golden Eagle, see the operation for ourselves and tour some homes. We were so impressed with this family run business that we came home with a signed order for our new home. I can't give any better recommendation than that! Take a look at their website!
